I have been an Art Doll Artist for 15 years. This may be my favorite art modality to create in, as it it allows for full expression in so many ways. I create using Gourd and Clay, Cloth and Clay, Found Objects, or a pure Clay Sculpt. The inspiration is a constant flow for them, for there are so many facets of being a woman that can be reflected within them.
I generally write a story for each of these little beings, the thoughts that inspired them, or a story that ran through my head while they were in their creative process.
